Atkins is tough, but it does “forcefully” take the weight off! After the two week phase? friut will taste like candy I swear LOL!! especially If youv’e really been following the diet the way your suppose to
I dont think you can eat coconuts, but you can eat creams (like the ones you add to your coffee) but I suggest that you add some water to it if you plan on drinking it.
Atkins diet does work to lose weight but is not healthy! it is a short term weight loss diet, that’s it.This is not healthy at all for a permanent diet, any low carb diet is not healthy. The assumption that people make that a low carb diet will make you burn fat as fuel is ridiculous, fat cannot be used as glucose, if you have no carbohydrates your body will use your protein as glucose instead, which means ull be low on TWO nutrients, this can cause alot of problems & can lead to heart disease
Hi, I’m on the 3rd day of the Atkins diet is it normal to feel hungary all the time, i eat alot of the recommended foods, but still feel hungary after a full meal, P.S I do feel lighter though and I will check my weight on sunday.
Atkins Diet is Healthy! Try reading the book from cover to cover, and using a little common sense, Our ancestors did not consume large quantities of white flour,sugar,carbohydrates,processed foods like we consume today, Lean meats,veggies,salad veggies,nuts,berries, fruits are what is recommended on Atkins along with good fats of course, I never counted calories on Atkins,or watched my fat intake….4 yrs ago I went from 242lbs to 140 in 8 months using the Atkins approach,Its still off
@glo937 Also, Atkins is lifelong not short term, Read the book, all of it before you start preaching about unhealthy….Oh and by the way when your body has no carbs in the blood stream to use as energy, your body does go into the excess fat stores & uses that as Fuel…Been there done that! If followed correctly you will feel better than you ever have! Spoken by someone who has actually done it & succeeded….Thanks

i’m doing the akins diet right now and this is my first day and wow hopefully i can stay away from the sugar and stuff lol
i’m 192 pounds now and i heard that you lose 15 pounds in 3 day with this diet.
